Eirik is a Norwegian writer, storyteller, journalist and film critic specializing in science fiction, fantasy and fandom. A self-described film nerd, Eirik got his start writing reviews on Letterboxd and later Cinema Norway. In addition to his work as FilmLore's editor-in-chief and primary content creator, he also runs Norway's most prominent film magazine, Filmmagasinet. Eirik is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), for which he was a jury member in the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and an international voter in the upcoming 80th Golden Globe Awards. He holds degrees in film production, marketing and brands management.
